Doug has been an active duck and goose hunter for over 30 years. He has hunted waterfowl from Canada to Arkansas, from Seattle, WA to Pensacola, FL and most places in between. After traveling the world in the US Navy Doug has once again settled in the mid-west. He currently lives in Minneapolis with his wife Michelle, his daughter Alexis and the newest member of his family Sydney born on June 7, 2011. Doug spends every moment he can afield (when not chasing the girls).
Robbie (AKA) JR may be the youngest member of Dead-Leaf’n but his passion for waterfowl hunting matches any of the older guys. When JR is not competing in calling contests or working at a show for Buck Gardner Calls, he is waterfowl hunting. Don’t tell the other guys but JR is the best duck/goose caller on the crew.
Gunner is the new kid on the block. A young yellow lab with unbridled enthusiasm, energy, and a slap-happy disposition.

Since the early 1960's, Jim has been gunning ducks and geese. He is retired, following 32 years in law-enforcement, and now has the time available to pursue this sport 24/7 during the Fall-Winter and Spring seasons. He is married with three grown children and four grandaughters. Aside from family and home-projects, Jim's spare time is spent customizing decoys for the spreads, prepping gear, and working with assorted manufacturers to develop better waterfowl-hunting equipment.
Rob has been hunting waterfowl for 30+ years. As an independent contractor, his schedule allows for many days spent in the field; throughout all seasons. Rob is married and has five children. He is a field-staffer for Buck Gardner Championship Calls and Dakota Decoys. He is often involved in seminars and calling contests. Rob is a chapter president for Ducks Unlimited.
